This will be our final points race for the Fall Points Series. Dont miss your last chance to add to your points. Gates will open at 4:30, drivers meeting at 7:00. Thank you to everyone who came out this past Friday. We hope to see everyone there this week.
MPR81, Thank you. We try really hard to have a nice smooth surface to race on. We are looking forward to the winter racing as well. Stay tuned for some racing events with Woodleaf Speedway and Liberty Raceway.
Todd, I'll try to post those tomorrow. I have them at my office. Brian was having computer problems and couldnt post the points for the fall series. We also have a current copy at the track. Hope to see you Friday. Thanks, Tammy
maybe someone can help me with my math.... 7 karts in a class. $20 entry fee for a 100% payback race.... thats $170 in the pot. winner gets $45.... I'm gonna guess 2nd gets $25............ that leaves 100 DOLLARS that is just missing.... any ideas where it could have gone.??
I am not sure exactly what you are talking about, but I am sure if you call Charlie about the payout he can tell you exactly how it was calculated. Charlie and his staff always payout the correct amounts. I am sure if there was mistake they will fix it, but I seriously doubt any mistakes were made. I do know that $3 per entry goes to the EMT that is parked in turn one. The remainder of the money is paid back. Lastly, if Charlie and the Woodleaf Staff were interested in making big money, they would have closed Friday night. I am sure with the number of entries Friday night, that it cost them money to let us race. Let's not make a big deal on the forum about payback. Simply call Charlie at (704) 906-7250 and he will sort through it with you.
not makin a big deal...... not upset...making a general statement... track was great, smooth and wet. had a good run and a good time.. I just wish more people would come out and run on Fri at the LEAF, so that winning a 100%% payback race didn't mean takin home $15 dollars..
People really need to come check out Woodleaf. Charlie is keeping the track nice and smooth, and with the moisture in the track, just about anyone can find tires to run competively. The concession stand is good and the staff is wonderful. Great track workers, flagman, and tech man. The track is run very fair and 100 % payback. Safety is a priority at Woodleaf!

BBM, Brandon, There was only 5 karts in the clone class. This was a points night. The breakdown for the $17 entry fee you paid is $2 to the points fund, $3 to EMT, leaves $12 for the payout. $12 X 5 entries = $60. 1st place paid $45, 2nd place paid $15. The $45 you received is correct. Please contact Charlie if you have any other questions.
All entry fee money is paid back to the karter. The staff and track expense is paid by Charlie through gate fees.
